Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register for this event?

Yes - registration is required and is open to all. Please share with those you know who are looking for a job or career change.

Do I need a resume to register/attend?

Yes! We recommend using a 1-2 page private-sector resume that is easy to visually scan for information, but federal resumes are also acceptable.

Is video camera required?

No - video camera is not required to participate.

Some employers may request a video chat, but you do not have to be on camera.
If you choose to use your video camera, make sure to do the following:
-- Find a quiet place free from distractions
-- Dress professionally
-- Use a neutral background
-- Relax and be yourself!

Why should you apply?

There are two selectors, one for "every other repeatable image" and one for "every other repeatable text." Images are placed using absolute positioning so that they match the height of the copy. Text is simply floated left or right depending on whether they are odd or even.
